Whilst at BU we have already expanded our e-provision of journals to the maximum possible given the titles to which we are subscribing, in the UK, we are still some way from a wholly electronic journal environment. A 2008 a survey of publishers found that 10% of all scholarly journals were still not available online, more in the arts, humanities and social sciences.
